Yes, you can. To send money from a bank account in Oman to walletii, you'll need your walletii alias, which you can find in the ‘Profile’ section of your app. Then log into your banking app and enter your walletii alias when sending money.
To send money from walletii to a bank account in Oman, you'll need to use the alias of your bank account, which you can find in your banking app. Then go to "Send money" in walletii, add a new local recipient and enter the alias of your bank account.
Yes. You can send money to any local wallet. The transfer is instant, and you only need the recipient’s phone number or alias.
There are no fees for sending money from walletii to other wallets and bank accounts in Oman. There may be a fee for sending money to another country — this depends on the country you’re sending money to, the provider you’ve chosen, and the delivery option. You may also have to pay VAT on the payment. We’ll always let you know, clearly in the app, what the exchange rate is, and if you’ll be charged a fee for your payment. No, you will not be charged for receiving money in walletii.
Yes! You can send money to over 200 countries with walletii. Just input the amount you want to send, select the delivery method, fill in the information we need about the person you’re sending the money to, confirm the transaction, and the money will be on its way. We’ll keep you updated as the money makes its way to the recipient.
This depends on the method you choose. For cash pickups, your international transfers will be ready to collect in 10 minutes or less. For other methods, such as bank transfers, the money will usually arrive the next day, but then it might depend on the local bank how fast they can process it. We’ll keep you updated as the money makes its way to its destination.
Yes, you can access the app just like you would in Oman. However, if you’re a new user, you cannot download and sign-up while you are abroad.
Choose a strong, unique passcode and change it regularly. Do not use a passcode that can be easily guessed based on your personal information (like your birthday or address). Do not reuse the same passcode you use to unlock your phone or other apps. Never share your passcode with anyone. Do not write down your passcode; ensure no one can see it. Lock your device when it’s not being used. Enable biometrics for faster, safer authentication. Check your transactions regularly. To open a walletii account, you must be over 18, hold a valid Omani ID (Identity card or Resident card), and have an Omani phone number. You can also have multiple wallets with different providers at the same time.
No, opening a walletii wallet is free. And you also won’t be charged if you keep your balance at zero or inactive for a period of time.
Once you’ve finished the verification process, which itself is very quick, then it should only take a couple of minutes for your walletii account to be opened. Occasionally, we may need to do some additional checks to verify your identity, but these should only take 1-3 business days.
To download walletii, you need to make sure you’re searching in the App Store or Google Play of a country where walletii is available. You can always switch your App Store or Google Play location.

The walletii app is only available for iOS and Android.
For security reasons, you cannot change the phone number linked to your walletii account. You must close your existing account and open a new one with your new number.
Download the walletii app to the new phone and log in with your existing phone number. We will verify your phone number and passcode. This will automatically sign out your account on the lost phone.
Log in to the app, and you’ll be prompted to update your personal details, where you can upload a new ID. Your app is good to go once your new ID is verified.
An alias is a unique identifier for your wallet that you can give to your friends to receive money in your walletii from any other wallet or bank. During the sign-up process, you’ll be given a random alias, but you can change it later in the settings. All walletii aliases end in @WLTI, as this indicates that you have a walletii wallet. We recommend changing the part before the @ to something you can easily remember.
We hope you don’t choose to close your account but, if you decide to do so, go to your profile settings → Account details → Close account. Make sure you have a wallet balance of 0 OMR before doing so. Otherwise, we can’t close your account. Once you’ve successfully requested your account’s closure, we’ll process it within two weeks.

You can add a maximum of 500 OMR in a single top-up, with a daily limit and maximum balance of 1,000 OMR.
If walletii is your default wallet, simply send money to your phone number. Otherwise, send money to your walletii alias, which you can find in the ‘Profile’ section of your app.
With walletii, you can send money to bank accounts, cash pick-up points for collection, wallets abroad, or any Visa or Mastercard payment card. Not every option is available for every country. You’ll be shown the available options when you tell us what country you’re sending money to.
Yes. Using walletii, you can send money to India quickly using the UPI. This makes sending money home easier and more efficient.
Walletii lets you select both delivery method and providers. So, you can choose based on your preferred exchange rate, fee, speed, or delivery method.
Yes, the limit for a single and daily transaction is 1,000 OMR. Your monthly limit for all outgoing transactions is 15,000 OMR.

Local payments happen immediately. The recipient will receive money instantly.
Simply send the money to another wallet or bank account.
In most stores that accept card payments, you can request a QR code payment at the checkout and then use ‘Scan and pay’ in walletii to scan the QR code and pay. Some merchants may give you their phone number so you can pay them.
You can request money to ask someone to pay you. Tap ‘Request money’ and enter the amount you want to request. Then, tap ‘Share request’ and either select a previously saved contact to send the request to, or tap ‘Share’ to send a QR code with the request through other apps. This QR code can be scanned by walletii ‘Scan and pay’ feature or by other local wallets.
When someone requests money from you, you’ll receive a notification, and a banner will appear in the walletii app. Tap the notification or the banner to open the request and decide if you want to confirm the payment or decline. You only have 2 minutes to confirm the payment. After that, the request will expire. Always make sure that you recognise the person and amount being requested.
No, there is no charge for adding money.
No, there is no charge to open a walletii wallet.
You can use the forgotten passcode feature, where we will take a selfie. We will verify your identity, and then you will be able to create a new passcode.
The maximum amount you can recharge or settle a bill by is 500 OMR per day. When paying a bill or recharging prepaid services, the minimum and maximum amount you can pay will vary based on the biller and service, but it cannot be more than 500 OMR/day. You can see the limits for a particular payment directly in the app. You can find more info about walletii limits here.
Go to ‘History’. Tap on the arrow at the bottom and then tap on the transaction you wish to see in detail. Remember, while a transaction is successful in walletii and shows as paid, it can still take a few hours for the updated balance to be reflected.
Prepaid payments should show in your app immediately, while postpaid bill payments can take a few hours to process. If it's been more than 24 hours and your payment still hasn't been settled, please contact us through the 'Help and support' section of the app, and we’ll look into it right away.
Yes, you can pay bills for others if you know their mobile phone number.
Once your friend makes their first payment, you’ll receive a referral reward. If you’re sure your friend has made a payment, and your reward hasn’t arrived within 10 minutes, please contact us through the 'Help and support' section of the app.
Go to ‘Invite friends’, where you’ll find your unique referral code to share with friends. Copy the code and send it using your preferred messaging service. When your friends create their account, they can enter your code by going to ‘Invite friends’ in their app and tapping ‘I have a referral code’ at the bottom of the screen.
Walletii points are our way of saying thanks for your loyalty. You’ll earn points when you use the app to make payments and, once you’ve earned 1,000 points, you can start exchanging them for cash. And more ways to use your walletii points are coming soon!
